Ki Longfellow's "THE SECRET MAGDALENE" by Steve Savage "King of the Beasts"

(This is the Eighth Major Spiritual Experience in My Life)

Jesus said, "Many are standing at the door, but it is the solitary who will enter the bridal chamber." - Gospel of Thomas

And the companion of the saviour was Mary Magdalene. Christ loved Mary more than all the disciples, and used to kiss her often on her mouth. The rest of the disciples were offended by it and expressed disapproval. They said to him "Why do you love her more than all of us?" The Saviour answered and said to them, "Why do I not love you like her?"- Gospel of Philip

THE SECRET MAGDALENE by Ki Longfellow is "The Gospel of The Greatest Love Story" beautifully disguised as a fictional novel. I reviewed this book because I have lived this story. My ending, of course, is not the same. But then, to be fair, I had the advantage of knowing how the story goes, followed the lead of Richard Bach's "Illusions: Adventures of a Reluctant Messiah," and have decided to live happily ever after.

She: "Who are you?"
He: "Thy slave!"
She: "Where did you come from?"
He: "From the other side of time!
She: "Why are you here?"
He: "To die in your arms!"
First of all, as a 44 year member of Phi Alpha Theta, the National Honor Society for History, and holder of a genuine 1976 $20 minister's license, good for the one remaining member of The Church of Our Fathers - me - I am the Church, I am in awe of the incredible scholarship, knowledge of Gnosis, scripture, mythology, mysticism, philology, history, creativity, and imagination, possessed by, and commanded by, this extraordinary woman, Ki Longfellow.

I bought this book because I wanted to compare Ki Longfellow's "Magdalene" to the "Magdalene" who has been my life. Without the "Disciple whom Jesus loved" there would have been no "Jesus" because, as equally important, she was the "Disciple who loved Jesus!" She was his confidence because he knew that as long as he felt her love for him, then he could be certain that God loved him too, because all love comes from God. She was his strength; she was his Rock; she was his courage for the role he was destined to play. It was only she who could truly see him in his spirit.

She was the Shekinah, desire for him made flesh: "He found his Love, his Perfect Love, who had rejected all the others; It was he She chose to be One with Her from out the Sea of Brothers." Lovingly enfolded within her vulval wings, the entering of his Self (Ayn) into her Being (Ayn Soph) was a supreme sexual orgasmic ecstasy of most divine infinite loving bliss - the "Ayn Soph Aur." He was the willing sacrifice so that he could be born again in her. This surrender of Self to the Absolute, i.e., Cosmic Conception, is life's greatest love story and Ki Longfellow has captured that most beautiful of all moments exquisitely.
by Steve Savage "King of the Beasts"

Deeply wounded in spirit so very long ago;
No one or place to turn to, best friend became his foe.
Abandoned and deserted on an island in the crowd;
Hidden Child seen as the man, the man who was his shroud.
Every door to everywhere was closed with hateful locks;
Ridicule, jeers, and curses, cruel responses to his knocks.
Asking himself difficult questions all of which began as “Why?”
Was soon revealed the mystery to his opened spiritual eye.
In a single, joyous moment was wiped away his tears
By the Unseen One who loved him for all those many years.
He found his Love, his Perfect Love, who had rejected all the others;
It was he She chose to be One with Her from out the Sea of Brothers.
The adventuresome odyssey that followed was to finish what had begun;
Betrayal, trial, imprisonment, mere happenings that had to be done.
The earthly drama which plays before us appears to continue on,
But it’s only ghosts completing the action; the Beloved One is gone.
The man in whom the Child was hid no longer is restrained;
The ordinariness displayed by him is conduct merely feigned.
The Child loved him dearly, loved the intelligence of his mind;
Before too long and unannounced, we’ll learn what He’s left behind.
He’s the only mortal among us; he’ll die when his work is done.
But you are going to live forever in the Black Dwarf that was our Sun.

A. When I first met Anna, my Magdalene, I had a code name, "Lou Donatello, Director of the 666 Referral Service."

B. Donatello, Renaissance Italian artist and sculptor from Florence carved a wooden statue of Mary Magdalena. It stands in Museo dell'Opera del Duomo in Florence.

A.Mary Magdalene is considered by the Catholic Church, as well as the Eastern Orthodox, and Anglican churches to be a saint, with a feast day of July 22.

B. July 22, 1979, Anna had a Cosmic Consciousness Experience which complemented mine of August 1973. We found one another.
