If Numbers are the DNA of the Universe, "Cheiro's Book of Numbers" is the Genome.

The most renowned of all Palmists and Numerologists, is Irishman William John Warner, who also went by the name of Count Louis Hamon and is best known as "Cheiro" (1866-1936). I consider my 1964 Arco Edition of "Cheiro's Book of Numbers" among my most treasured possessions. It is a source of esoteric knowledge not found elsewhere. There are a great many books on numerology; however, I have not yet found another that is the equal of this one. Indeed, I would encourage all who are walking the Spiritual Path because of circumstances beyond their control to buy this book now. The application of the knowledge contained in this book is something that will depend upon the spiritual advancement of the reader. Those who are truly initiated will appreciate the way in which the book speaks to them directly and personally. For example: "Steve Savage." "Steve" is the compound number "19." It is symbolized as "the Sun" and is called "the Prince of Heaven." "Savage" is "23." This number is called "the Royal Star of the Lion." I was born on Easter Sunday, March 28, 1937. The number "1937" is the compound number "20." This number is called "the Resurrection." Thirty-six years later ("9"), in 1973 ("20"), it made a profound reappearance in my life when I attained "Cosmic Consciousness." This number ("20") is also called "the Awakening." "Twenty-eight" is the "Container of Undifferentiated Energy." "Nine" stands for Mars, which rules my sign Aries, the God of War. It represents Iron. The "spirit number of "9" is "666."

I am the Director of the 666 Referral Service which was founded at a Police Convention in 1979 ("26"). For those who are spiritually advanced, and are attuned to synchronicity, consider that number - "26" - which is the sign of our times, and manifesting more and more frequently. For the past 250 million years waves of mass extinctions on Earth have occurred every 26 million years. Every 26,000 years we have a precession of the Equinoxes, called Yugas in Hinduism. The last one is the Kali Yuga (the End Times), which we are in now. Another name for the Kali Yuga is "Iron Age." The Atomic Number for Iron is "26," the last element formed on Earth; the apparent magnitude of the Sun is -26; there are 26 letters in the alphabet; the US Constitution actually has 26 Amendments (the 21st repealed the 18th); the New York Yankees have won 26 World Series Championships; the number of nations that formed the United Nations on the 26th of June, 1945, is 26; NATO is an Alliance that consists of 26 independent member countries; France is composed of 26 Provinces; the Marathon is 26 miles; 26 nations compete in the Tour de France; John Paul II was Pope for 26 years; we have had 26 named Tropical Storms this year; the total number of Americans of Italian descent is 26 million; there are 26 pages in the newly discovered Gnostic gospel, the "Gospel of Judas;" the number of spacetime dimensions in bosonic string theory is 26; "26" is the gematria of the four-letter name of God; there are 26 known fundamental mathematics constants; a Rubik's Cube can always be solved in 26 moves or less; Japan has had 26 cases of Mad Cow Disease; the personal data of 26 million veterans has been stolen from the Veterans Administration;26 is the only number between a square number and a cube number, the numbers being 25 (5 squared) and 27 (3 cubed); 26 copies of the original Dunlap prints of the Declaration of Independence have been found. There are 1,000's of other examples, of course.

No doubt, this is all coincidence and may not be true, but you can see that numerology can be fun, especially when what you figure out comes about. By the way, "Happy 2006!"
