DON'T GET OLDER, GET BETTER by Steve Savage "King of the Beasts"

STEVE SAVAGE "King of the Beasts" Age 80, Ht. 6'0, Wt. 220 lbs.

Exercise will take the amount of time provided to do it in. Yeah, I know, that’s “Parkinson’s Law.” If you’re like me, exercise of any kind can get to be a drag. I’ve done them all for all of my life: Free Weights, Machines, Bullworkers, Total Gyms, Nordicflex, you name it. It gets old fast. The trick is, how can you get the maximum amount of benefit from the least amount of exercise? How much intensity do you have to put out to get the best results without knocking yourself out? Well, I’m 80 years old. This morning I did 100 non-stop pushups, then 4 more sets of 50 non-stop pushups, T’ai Chi and Kung Fu katas, Heavy Bag, one of the three Yoga routines taken from “Richard Hittleman’s 28 Day Yoga,” leg raises, Pilates Ab Exercises, Three-Minute Planks, and Yogametrics. The pushups are a self-test of my strength, the T’ai Chi, and Kung Fu is to program my body’s bio-mechanic defense responses in case I have to fight, the Pilates is to strengthen my core; and, Frank Rudolph Young’s Yogametrics is to strengthen my entire body, mind, and spirit to make sure I win that fight. The whole thing takes about an hour and a half.

Barefoot hike in Santa Monice Mountain... 1.5 to 3 hrs... yoga 1.5 hrs.. Gold's Gym 1 to 2 hrs.. Sungazing 30mins... AVG per day 3 to 4 hrs... hmmm... We need to get out not in... I will make a new post on my blog shortly.. I see a new regime that will lead to the creation of superman.. all focused on balancing energy in the physical and astral body. 5 main sources of energy: 1: food(water, raw, organic, etc.) 2:Bare foot walking (earth prana)... specifically impacts the physical body (needs to be redistributed and balanced with yoga) 3: breath... all motion should focus on the breath and moving prana to areas of need/exertion (this includes resistance training and yoga) 4:light (sungazing) charges the astral body.. the most profound thing you can do.. coupled with the others creates immortality and super conscious beings... tai chi and qi gong recommended to evenly disperse the accumulated energy. 5: meditation (christos and cosmic energy- one and the same??)

the purer you become your requirement for the grosser forms of energy are diminished... such as food and breath

seems that all of these correspond with the different bodies.. physical, astral and casual... food, breath, earth, sun, mind

Carlos Castaneda's "Don Juan," the Yaqui Indian Bruja, said the last enemy on the Path of the Warrior, is the unyielding desire to quit, to give up. Time, Old Age, the companions of Yama, the God of Death, can be overcome by those who know the "Three Words of the Two-Edged Sword." (see my poem on this). These Words were given to me and I will give them to you, but they can only be whispered, not cast out in the light of day to be devoured by the Dogs. If you look in the Gospel of Thomas, you will see that the Three Words were given to Thomas, Jesus' Twin. When asked what they were by the others, he informed them that if he told them, the world would be destroyed.
